University Lecturer in Psychology

The Department of Psychology is now seeking a university lecturer for a temporary position during the spring semester.

Responsibilities

The position focuses on teaching in social psychology as well as work and organizational psychology. Teaching may also include other courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as supervision of student projects. The responsibilities also include course administration, which is a natural part of the pedagogical assignment.

Qualifications

Requirements for the position are:

• Completed doctoral degree in psychology.
• Demonstrated pedagogical skills.
• Five weeks of higher education pedagogical training or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way, unless there are special reasons.

The position requires documented competence in psychology and specific experience primarily in social psychology, but also work and organizational psychology is meritorious. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement. Experience in supervising student projects, including theses and projects at the undergraduate and graduate levels, is meritorious.

Consideration will also be given to good collaboration skills, drive, and independence, as well as how the applicant is assessed to complement and strengthen ongoing educational and development work at the department through their experience and competence. Familiarity with the activities of the Department of Psychology is meritorious. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Temporary position of approximately 40% during the spring semester. Start as soon as possible.
